Spring is coming and the colors are popping up everywhere! I love all of the brights that are splashing over shoes, bags, and even jeans! Yes, colored jeans are back in full force. You can find them in every shade of the rainbow. There is barely off-white as well as bold blues and reds. I love the pastels, but stronger shades are such a show stealer! You can see celebs all over the place in pigmented pants right now, and I’m sure that will only grow as Spring arrives. Here are some of my favorite jean hues and brands. You are sure to find some that fit your style and personality!
I actually just bought these particular blue grotto J.Crew Toothpick jeans in garment-dyed twill last week! I am so so excited about them and have already managed to wear them twice. It is safe to say I am obsessed. Not only are they an incredible stand out shade of blue, but they are also so comfortable! In all honesty, these are the softest and most comfy pants I have ever owned! I’m already dying to go back and buy another pair in the light coral shade.
I’ve included Joe’s Jeans Color Yourself Pretty Skinnys in several other posts, but when discussing colored bottoms you just can’t leave them out! In case you weren’t aware, Joe’s Jeans have a line of their The Skinny jean in 55 different colors! One of my favorites is Thistle, a really light lilac hue that just screams Spring to me! The color is uber girly yet very soft and not in your face.
The Aqua Denim Color Skinny in Mint Jelly is another brighter choice, but it’s a bit more muted than some. I think these would be great to wear now as we transition into the warmer months. Unlike a lot of other colors, I think this green could be paired with with quite a variety of things. A white lace top with subtle gold accessories would be gorgeous! And another little tip for some of you…if you have dirty blonde or light brown hair this green tends to be really flattering. I say this because I am a victim of not so exciting, ashy light brown hair. Not many colors really flatter me and my coloring, but green definitely does!
I am currently drooling over the AG Adirano Goldschmied Stilt Cigarette Jean in Socialite Pink. I have seen hot hot pink and magenta jeans, but the perfect shade of bubblegum pink is another story. You would feel nothing less of a woman in these babies! Pair them with a loose white graphic tee and some little black flats.. .perfection! These are girly at its finest. Must…have…now!
The last pair of colorful jeans I have for the night are the MOTO High Waist Sorbet Jamie Jeans in Orange. So they call themselves orange, but I am kinda feeling more of a golden yellow type of shade. Anyways, this is probably the coolest color I have came across. This mac ‘n’ cheese color is just so unexpected, and unexpected is what we strive for in the world of fashion. I know you can’t tell from the photo, but when you look up close these have a bit of an acid washed thing going on. If you are in need of a wardrobe revamp and looking for a funky statement item look no further!
What are your opinions of colored jeans? Should we stick with the classic blues or jump outside of the box? Will you be wearing colorful britches this year!? If so, what color are you loving?
